Heading to the Casino? Make sure to bring a Plan!
Las Vegas without a plan is a really bad idea. As you can imagine, Las Vegas hits hard, so be ready by arming yourself with a few hacks to make sure that you get the most out of your time in the city that never sleeps.
Have a schedule. Not necessarily a super detailed schedule, but at least have an idea of what you are doing to do and where you are going to spend your time. It’s really easy to go off the rails in Las Vegas, so a general plan of action just might help keep more money in your pockets and more sanity in my mind.
Take a look at restaurant and dining options before you go. Vegas can be expensive, especially if you are making last minute decisions. Locate eateries near your hotel so that you don’t end up stuck without affordable food.
If you plan on taking in some Las Vegas shows, do that research beforehand as well. Plan for time to get to and from shows, and make sure to check with your hotel host to see how close those shows are to your location. Getting around in Vegas is easy, but sometimes can be challenging unless you have a plan.
Plan your budget. Know what you want to spend each day. Allocate a certain amount to dinging, shopping and of course, gambling. Stick to your budget so that you don’t find yourself at the dreaded ATM machine. And if you do find yourself at the ATM machine, make sure you are sober. Drunk ATM machining is highly unrecommended.
